Hands Grasped,
Fingers intwined,
Looking into you eyes,
Feeling everything that hurts you.
Wondering to your wrist
Fluttering fingers,
Touching softly your cuts and brusies,
Where butterflies with razor wings
once pondered the thought
of playing with your arterys.
I pulled you tight to my body,
so you could never let go,
I'll be your anchor to this life,
Your light at the tunnels end.
Holding you to this world,
As the butterflies kiss your wrist,
Kissing you, breathing life
into rosey lips which I'll never let embrace the cold.
Never again shall they taste the nector of your blood
finessing a wing through skin,
Never shall you leave before
all problems are solved
not run from.
My friend, my love
Bid the butterflies Fairwell.

I love the contrast of wounds with butterflies, kisses with pain. Nice work, sweetie. You are full of surprises.....
